What’s a lesson you learned the hard way?
– Shortcuts work until they don’t.
If you could travel anywhere in the world tomorrow, where would you go and why?
– Norway or Sweden to see the Northern Lights.
What’s one piece of career advice that has really stuck with you?
– Raise your hand. (Volunteer) Go the extra mile – not for them, but for you.
What’s a book, show, or movie that had a big impact on you?
– Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood – Please won’t you be my neighbor?
If you could revive any canceled TV show for one more season, which one would it be?
– Ted Lasso – Roy Kent is one of the greatest TV roles ever written.
What’s something about you that always surprises people when they find out?
– I’m an introvert.
If you had to survive on only one type of cuisine forever, what would it be?
– Mexican – but not guacamole – because guacamole has avocado and avocado tastes like wet dirt.
What’s a small, everyday thing that brings you a lot of joy?
– The camera on our bird-feeder.  I could watch those birds all day. (Man – I sound really old.)
If you could give your younger self career advice, what would it be?
– Slow down and look people in the eye.
What motivates you to do your best work every day?
– Knowing that I support a team covering 9 different time zones who each bring their best each day.
If time and money weren’t a factor, what hobby or skill would you dive into?
– Probably beekeeping.  I’m fascinated by their skill plus not sure we’d be alive without them.
If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
– Not sure but it would definitely include some form of potato.
What’s your go-to way to unwind after a long day?
– Dinner with the family.  As the father of two young adults, getting everyone together can be a challenge – but rewarding! Or axe-throwing.
